Alexandre Resende

Born in Porto, Portugal, Alexandre is a passionate winemaker with global experience. After completing his Master’s in Viticulture and Enology, he worked harvests across Portugal, deepening his understanding of terroir and varietals.

His winemaking journey led him to the Douro, where he worked with the Fladgate Partnership, and later to Casa Passarella in Dão. Seeking international perspective, Alexandre expanded his skills in Germany’s renowned Mosel Valley, specializing in Riesling. In 2022, Alexandre joined Casa Santos Lima as Winemaker, overseeing the production of the company’s Douro wines. Combining technical mastery with hands-on vineyard and cellar experience, he is dedicated to showcasing the quality and diversity of Portuguese wines worldwide.
