With over 20 years in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), Monika Elling is the CEO and Founder of LO SECCO Prosecco DOC Brut Nature—the world’s preeminent zero-sugar, low-carb sparkling wine addressing the $9.1B U.S. market. Today, Monika Elling leads innovaVon at the intersecVon of premium wine and wellness. As a result of Monika’s strategic approach and her background in nutriVon, LO SECCO has achieved rapid tracVon and market aYenVon within the first 60 days of launch. Previously in 2017, Monika created the brand and packaging for Empress 1908 Gin along with with all sales and markeVng strategies, achieving a $200M+ exit for her Private Equity client in 2022. Elling began her career in luxury goods CPG adverVsing at Saatchi & Saatchi’s William Esty division then moved into publishing, followed by a decade in internaVonal trade and investment promoVon. That presented an opportunity to build a wine company in the U.S. which led to next steps as Director of PR at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, where she was named Business Professional of the Year. In 2010 she launched FMG, a brand development agency where she developed 10X-growth market and digital strategies for mulVple CPG brands including LVMH. She has managed U.S. market entries, distributor networks, and eCommerce plagorms for spirits and wine companies, driving sustained growth in compeVVve sectors. A Division I tennis alumna and mother of naVonally ranked athletes, Elling applies her deep knowledge in nutriVon psychology and fitness to advance funcVonal wine and spirits soluVons that support balanced, acVve lifestyles
