Dennis Bell has been at the heart of Lewis since 1999, when he came on board to assist his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Randy Lewis, co-founders of Lewis Cellars. And he hasn’t looked back since. During his tenure at Lewis, Bell has helped build every facet of the business. He has overseen all sales, distribution and hospitality; and led the winemaking team to craft the wines Lewis is known for. In his current role as Vice President, Bell oversees all operations and winemaking. Working closely with a passionate winemaking and production team he strives to capture a unique expression for every vintage with the collective inputs of the team.
Bell wants every glass of wine to create a memorable sensory experience. Wine that tells a story with a distinct beginning, middle, and an end that leaves a lasting impression. When Bell isn’t walking vineyards or working with wines, he can be found on the trails of Marin County and the waters of San Francisco Bay.
